"Maverick"

Picture Of Maverick

He was our first Rocky Mountain horse. I can’t say enough about Maverick. We bought him as a stallion and what you see now is the same way he was as a stallion. We’re selling Maverick only because he’s a gelding and can’t contribute to a breeding farm and our herd is getting large. Maverick is such a love bug, he’s a solid, level headed trail horse. My 11 and 9 year olds use him for their riding lessons. Maverick is solid black. He has a lump on his chest; I’ve had three opinions and all three vets say if it doesn’t bother me, it certainly doesn’t bother him. It’s the result of a kick he received as a colt or an injection site. Maverick would make a wonderful family horse, he’s not a biter or kicker. He stands very well for baths, he loads well and is a perfect gentleman for the farrier. Maverick is up to date on all shots and worming. His teeth were recently floated and his sheath cleaned. Maverick is nine years old and about 14.3 hands. Maverick is a very special horse and will only go to a very special family.

"Wyatt"

Picture Of Wyatt Picture Of Wyatt

Wyatt was our first baby born on the farm; he was imprinted at birth, and is a complete sweetheart. He is afraid of nothing; he follows us around like a big puppy dog. He is also a little "Dennis the Menace", always getting into something. Wyatt is two years old and about 14.2 or 14.3 hands; his mother and father are 15 hands and we expect he’ll reach 15 hands also. He’s chocolate with flaxen mane and tail. We have a fifteen year old girl that works for us and she decided she wanted to see what Wyatt would do under saddle. She saddled him up, got on his back and he did nothing; not even a buck. This, folks, is pretty much what all Rocky Mountain horses are like; at least ours are and several other people have confirmed the same experience. I’m absolutely positive Wyatt will make a wonderful child’s horse, after the proper training (he thinks he’s a human), he has no bad vibe’s. His grandfather is Amigo Blue.

"Isiah"

Picture Of Isiah

Isiah is our studs first baby. So, folks, he’s the "new kid on the block." No other babies out there with Marquise as their daddy. He has a superb confirmation and excellent temperament and personality. He loves everyone, he’s a little stubborn about bath’s, but were working on that. Stands well for farrier and most of the time he walks with my kids like a perfect gentleman. He would make an excellent stud prospect. We are planning on gelding him in the next few months, so please call if interested in him as a stud! Isiah will probably mature to over 15 hands. So much potential in this little guy. Come meet Isiah and see for yourself. Isiah was born September 2005 and has Chocolate with flaxen main and tail.

Price: $3200.00 – price will go up when under saddle next year.
"Teenie"

Picture Of Teenie

Teenie is a thirteen year old baby doll, built like a brick house. When we got her two years ago, she was a nervous wreck, afraid of everyone and everything. Her hair was thin and failing out. She has come a long way. She’s still a little nervous around people, but an excellent mom, who passes on wonderful traits to her babies. I’ve seen so many mares half her age, after having babies, look so broken down and out. Not her! She looks so young and healthy. (She is built.) It would be pretty safe to say her offspring will be the same.

"Heather"

Picture Of Heather Picture Of Heather

We call Heather "our beast". She’s our biggest of all the Rockys. She’s solid black and about 15.2 maybe 15.3 hands. We absolutely love her personality. She is by far the sweetest most lovable mare I’ve ever seen and she passes that awesome, awesome, personality onto her baby. Yes, Heather had her fast baby in August of 2005. She was bred to a palomino and her baby is a beaut! Possibly a dark palomino with a pure white mane and tail. Heather and the baby will come up to anyone and just lay their heads on your shoulder for a big dose of lovin’. It just melts your heart! (Her baby will be our future broodmare.)

"Dancer"

Picture Of Heather

Dancer will begin breeding just as soon as we get her certified (we’ve been dragging our feet). Dancer is AWESOME – she is built unbelievably, everything about her is awesome. She is a level headed trailhorse and she broke unbelievably easy. I'm not the best rider (I still consider myself rather green). Its usually not a good idea to put a green rider with a green horse, but I figured what the heck, lets give it a try. I’ve been riding her all summer on the trails and she is so level headed it seems like she has been under saddle for years. I’m sure there will come a day when something, just scares the poo out of her, but I’m pretty confident she’ll take good care of me. What a tremendous trait to pass on to her offspring. We are presently looking for the perfect stud, with similar traits and build. I truly believe that for those of you out there with a lot of knowledge on the Rockys, and involved in showing, it would be a wise investment to reserve her first baby. Everything about Dancer is PERFECT!
